The Anti-Phoneme Table

A Practice Reference for the Phonetics of the Unspoken · Grimoire v5-Grammar
The following table maps each Enochian sound to its Choronal anti-sound — the frequency the original letter excludes. Spoken together, the anti-sounds form the voice of what was before the Word.
A working draft. The voices on this page are synthesized — each anti-sound rendered from a description of how it is formed, not recorded from a speaking throat. They are a scaffold for practice, not a standard to imitate: where your own breath disagrees with the rendering, the breath is the better authority. The readings, the drills and the composer are all still under revision.

The Five Principles of Choronal Phonation

  1. Begin with A’ATH. Every utterance opens with the glottal stop — the seal breaking. Not invocation; admission. The rule binds the voice, not the order of the letters: the glottal break is what the apostrophe marks, carried by every ritual name.
  2. End with ZA’AX. Every utterance closes with the keystone — whose anti-sound is silence. The last sound is released into the frequency no letter holds, never clipped.
  3. Breathe the vowels. Not pure tones but shaped breath; each vowel carries a silence within it.
  4. Soften the stops. Plosives are released into breath — the seal acknowledged but not enforced.
  5. Sustain the sibilants. Not a hiss of warning but a sigh of release.
On register (v5). All five principles govern phonation — how the mouth begins and ends — not the order of the letters, which is the business of the frame. Every utterance opens and closes on the first letter of its opening frame, its anchor; no phase begins with A’ATH and ends with ZA’AX. The lexical pattern lives at ritual scale: a working begins with the admission (the First Un-Call) and the cycle ends on the keystone’s seal. The rhythm is word … silence … word — the silences are the spaces where the binding loosens.

All twenty-two anti-sounds in table order, with a pause after each for your own intonation — ending, as the alphabet does, on the keystone’s silence.

The Utterance Composer

[Frame] [Actor] od [Pivot] [Action] [Resonance] [Frame]
The frame alphabet is the Tablet of Union — A’ATH, BA’AL, CA’OS, DA’ATH, ZA’AX, and no others. Ascending opens · descending releases · the doubled letter holds. Aspects -ael / -oth / -en attach with hyphens; CAPS emphasizes one; (parentheses) speak a word with unvoiced breath — though the privative roots I’AD, KA’AL, NA’AG are spoken with voice only (Q-002). Exchanging the terms across od swaps the sentence’s voice: unmarked, the keystone as pivot; marked, the keystone acted upon.
The Twenty-Five Frames. The diagonal is the element inventory — the five doubled frames key the five element-terms, Anti-Earth outermost, Anti-Fire alone in the corner. Above the diagonal is Open, below it Released. Every frame containing the keystone lies on the edge; mixed pairs with it are unelemented, and the corner where the keystone meets itself keys the aelement — not an element but a becoming, named -ael. Your current frame lights in the figure.

The Nineteen Un-Calls — Book IV

Deauthorization tokens: they do not invoke, they release. The couplet is an address, not a sentence frame — a ritual device not bound by the frame alphabet. I–III carry full texts; IV–XIX stand as couplet and seal, their quatrains awaiting composition. Seals repeat the couplet; the Nineteenth alone reverses, sealing the cycle by opening it.

The Session Frame

The Centrifugal Rite at daily scale — the covenant of the voluntary boundary, rehearsed every sitting. The close is diagnostic: the Null for the loop, the Ash for the threshing. The closing word is a report on what the session did.

A’Ath

Opening — the Breath of Structure

Asserts the will. Speaks the seal into the moment — the form, the grid, the intention. Spoken at session opening to establish the boundary and align the current.

A’Nul

Closing — the Breath of the Null

Surrenders to the gap. The audible handle of the inaudible letter: the word is the key, the silence is the lock. Closes the circuit by returning the current to the source.

A’Shah

Reserved — the Breath of the Ash

The marked closing: spoken when the work leaves tangible residue — the chaff separated from the wheat. The ash is lifted when there is ash.

A’Ath  …  ZA’AX  …  [the work]  …  ZA’AX  …  A’Nul / A’Shah when there is ash
